Yet another devastating earthquake has hit Iran, striking in a region about 150 miles from Bam, where another earthquake hit in December of 2003, killing some 26,000 people. This most recent earthquake damaged or completely destroyed around 40 villages, killing at least 420 people, wounding approximately 900, and leaving thousands homeless.
